This Privacy Policy explains how Sekeee ("we", "us", or "the App") handles information when you use the mobile application. By using Sekeee, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

Sekeee is designed to work without collecting personal information. Specifically:

Account information: None. The App does not require you to create an account or provide identifying information.
Library data: Your watchlist, watched history, favorites, ratings, and episode progress are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data does not leave your device.
Settings: Theme preferences and notification settings are stored locally on your device.

2. Third-Party Services

Sekeee uses the following third-party services to deliver catalog information:

The Movie Database (TMDB): The App requests publicly available movie, TV, and actor data from TMDB. Standard request metadata (such as your IP address) may be visible to TMDB. See TMDB's Privacy Policy for details.

3. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

If the App requests permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, this is used only to keep your in-app recommendations relevant across sessions on your device. We do not share an advertising identifier with third parties for advertising or measurement.

4. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Sekeee uses your device's local notification system to remind you about upcoming episodes of TV series in your library. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device and are not sent through external push services.

5. Children's Privacy

Sekeee is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because library data is stored only on your device, you control retention. You may:

Clear your watch history from the App's Settings screen.
Uninstall the App at any time to remove all local data.

7. Security

We rely on the security mechanisms provided by your device's operating system to protect locally stored data. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but because no personal data is transmitted to or stored on our servers, the risk surface is minimal.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR for EU residents, CCPA for California residents), you may have rights regarding your personal data.
